The final round on Sunday was more about survival than shooting low. Only nine players in the field broke par and another five managed to shoot even par. Bradley made only one bogey on Sunday with three birdies and 14 pars. Shooting t2-under par was good enough to move to into a tie with Ryan Palmer at 3-under. Palmer made six bogies but birdied the 18th hole to force the playoff.
The playoff was on the 18th hole but Palmer was out of magic. A par by Bradley and a bogey by Palmer was good enough to give Bradley his first victory. Bradley, who earned just over $260,000 on the Nationwide Tour last year, received $1,170,000 for the win and 500 FedEx Cup points. He is now in 20th in the FedEx Cup standings and moves into 203rd in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Sergio Garcia was once again near the top of the leaderboard heading into the weekend and final round. A 4-over par Saturday kept him in the hunt but a final round of 7-over par (77) dropped him to 20th. Garcia made a total of ten bogies and one double bogey over the final two rounds. His lobe birdie of the weekend came on 16th hole Sunday afternoon.
The 2010 HP Byron Nelson Champion, Jason Day, shot a final round 3-under par to jump into the top 10. Day was tied for 20th heading into the final round but finished in 5th place. The top 10 finish was the 6th of the season for Day who finished in a tie for second at The Masters.
Despite shooting over Par during their final rounds, Nick Watney and Matt Kuchar both finished in the top 10. Kuchar was the highest raned player in the field coming in at 10th in the Official World Golf Rankings. His 6th place finish was his 7th top 10 of the season and moved him to 7th in the world. Watney made a bogey on the 72nd hole to finish in a tie for 8th. It's the seventh time this season Watney has found himself in the top 10 in eleven PGA TOUR starts.
The PGA TOUR heads to Muirfield Village GC in Dublin, Ohio for the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide. Justin Rose was the 2010 winner.
