Great article Mike- following Leftie must have been a sight!

I'm making it a point to go next year. The closest I came to going to a major was when I was living in Miami. I attended the WGC-CA Championship a few times at Doral. It always draws the biggest names in golf. I've also been to the Waste Management Phoenix Open a couple of times.

When I think back on it, your top five would be mine as well. I always get the chills as I walk through the gates. Golf fans are awesome, especially at the Phoenix Open(That's just a big party). Seeing the pros hit driver IS truly something to behold.

I've followed Phil, Tiger, D.J., and others. I think my favorite golfer I ever followed was Vijay. He's just so smooth and effortless with his swing.

I have to admit. I'm a little jealous of you right now. The U.S. Open has to be on a whole different level. Can't wait to make the trip. Great article!

Thanks Dexter & Justin! The U.S. Open was something special! Watching Mickelson make birdie was pretty amazing. It was great to see the "new generation" of players too. Going gives a great appreciation for how talented these players are!

I appreciate the comments and thanks for reading!

Jealous here!!! Sounds amazing. Hope to catch it next year.

Thanks Jay! It was a great time and I'm glad I made the trip down for this U.S. Open.
